CAGLIOSTRO
Count Cagliostro was the alias of Giuseppe Balsamo, as mentioned in The Invisibles he was arrested during the time of the French Revolution due to his alleged involvement in a conspiracy involving the expensive necklace of Marie Antoinette, he later died in prison, but for another offence having been pursued by the Catholic Church, via the villains of The Inquisition.
Here’s a link to a website which possesses far more information; http://www.themystica.com/mystica/articles/c/cagliostro.html Grant Morrisons The Invisibles is one of my favourite comic book series EVER, because it involves little mentions to stuff I have been interested in for many a year, and especially a lot of stuff from my golden days, the Eighties.
SAINT GERMAIN
Also mentioned in The Invisibles, is a very odd character, if his legend is to be believed. He’s alleged, in some instances to be the strange, mythical figure The Wandering Jew. He was arrested in England during the Jacobite Rebellion for being a spy, though the English were unable to discover his true identity, and was eventually released.
He’s been an alleged immortal, an Ascended Master and a supernatural being.
Aren’t we, people, weird? The many little beliefs we have, the obsessions with fantasies, with fictions, though I guess the World would be a duller place without these fantasies, wouldn’t it?

Who will be the strange people for future generations? Do we now in the 21st Century have equivalents? The 20th had Crowley, Jack Parsons, L Ron Hubbard and many others, but where are our mysterious folk? Are there any, hmm, Google needs to be utilised to discover if the 21st Century has any mystery men, or women.
MAGICKAL PRACTICE
Last night I started meditating, around nine thirty, but I unfortunately went from meditation to sleep, waking over four hours later feeling incredibly refreshed and ready for the day ahead, I could have leapt from my bed and started something constructive, instead I enjoyed crawling into a small ball and embracing laziness for several hours. Bad me.
